yeah i thought as much... the fact it worked on another iPhone 6 with an older OS i didn't dwell on it too much... i inadvertently had tried on one with 8.3 and that gave a similar issue... could just be the users iPhones... i'm not too worried about it to be honest as it's not intended for them.. i give them a separate SSID to connect their phones to so they don't have them on my LAN.
